Land Rover have finally released the first image and details of the next addition to the Range Rover family and it’s called the Evoque. The new Range Rover Evoque will make it’s debut at the Paris Motor show on the 30th of September and then be released later in 2011. With the final goal having the vehicle available in over 160 countries around the world.
The new Range Rover Evoque is the most fuel efficient, lightest and smallest Range Rover in the companies history. Regarding the name Evoque, Range Rover had this to say: “A name which implies exclusivity and arouses emotions, Evoque is cosmopolitan and cross-continental, sophisticated and matches the car’s urban elegance”. Whatever that means?
The new Range Rover Evoque maintains many of the exterior styling that has become so synonymous with the Range Rover brand. From the distinctive falling roof to the rising waistline, the Evoque is true to the Range Rover styling roots. The Evoque however is more compact and obviously fuel efficient, lending itself to the new generation of SUV’s that are becoming more and more popular around the world. People are looking for vehicles that are more compact, more fuel efficient and have less CO2 emissions and most of the big manufacturers are following this trend.
The new Range Rover Evoque will do really well and should fit nicely in the Range Rover luxury SUV segment.
