Nice Price Or Crack Pipe: 1978 Mercury Grand Marquis For $15,000?
Nice Price Or Crack Pipe: 1978 Mercury Grand Marquis For $15,000?-December 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:10:20

Sometimes you look at the price of a car for sale and you ask yourself, "Is that a pretty good deal, or would I have to be smoking the rock to pay that much?" That's what is all about, and we're going to follow up yesterday's - which 65% of you felt went for way too much green- with another Detroit classic. This time it's a super-cherry 1978 Mercury Grand Marquis, a car with just 4,054 miles on the clock. This has got to be the nicest '78 Grand Marquis in the world, and it's got all the options: 460 engine, power everything, cruise control, even the player. But fifteen grand? What do you think?

, thanks to for the tip!

For $10,000, Could This 1977 MGB V8 Conversion Convert You Into A British Believer?
Today’s MGB rocks a soft top and a saucy Rover V8. Let’s see if its price tag is low enough that you’d let that Rover take over. You know, back when Saturn—the GM car division, not the planet—was a thing, one of their key differentiators from other auto makers was...

At $2,500, Could This 5.7-Powered 1985 Mazda RX7 Be The Prescription For Fun?
How do you envision your own death? Might it be behind the wheel of something as badass as today’s Mazda? Let’s find out if anyone can—or should—afford to go in this style. You don’t have to be woke to know that there were a lot of questionable aspects to buying...

I Need A Commuter That Matches Some Of The Other Weirdos I've Got! What Car Should I Buy?
Jason has owned some pretty unique, (some may say questionable) cars in his lifetime. But now is looking for a solid commuter car that has comfort and power, of course, it still has to have some character. What car should he buy? (Welcome back to ? Where we give real...

At $9,750, Could This 1991 VW T4 Transporter Have You Sitting By The Doka The Bay?
The seller of today’s T4 Doka says it’s literally sitting at the dock with two of its smaller “Sinka” brothers. Let’s find out if its price might make it a worthy port ‘o call. There’s this old Doris Day movie entitled . Although I’ve never actually seen the 1968 flick,...

For $1,995, Could You Fall For This Luxurious 1988 Lincoln Mk VII LSC?
For $1,995, Could You Fall For This Luxurious 1988 Lincoln Mk VII LSC?
If you wanted to take one lap of luxury then you could do far worse than to do so in today’s Mk VII. We’ll have to decide if you should also be lapping up its price. In the movie Bridesmaids, Melissa McCarthy’s character “overcommits” by adopting nine party-gift puppies rather...

AT $18,000, Could This 6-Wheeled 1982 Jeep Cherokee Be The Ultimate Off Roader?
AT $18,000, Could This 6-Wheeled 1982 Jeep Cherokee Be The Ultimate Off Roader?
Despite its 6-wheel underpinnings, the seller of today’s custom Jeep Cherokee says it’s never seen snow. Much the pity to that, but we’ll have to decide if it will also ever see a buyer. With its sub-triple digit horsepower and relatively old school suspension, yesterday’s was likely not the “Ultimate...
