- Skodahas sold a total of 37,568 cars to date in 2022; the highest ever in its India journey

- The brand registered a Y-o-Y growth of 10 per cent

Skoda Auto India registered a sale of 4,222 vehicles in August 2022. The brand sold 3,829 units compared to the same period last year, thus recording a Y-o-Y growth of 10 per cent. The company also achieved a milestone as it recorded the largest number of cars sold in a year in its 20-year presence in the Indian market.

Skoda has sold a total of 37,568 units in the first eight months of 2022, which makes it the most successful year for the brand yet. Sales of the brand touched 34,678 units in 2012, which was the previous highest record for the carmaker.

Speaking on the occasion, Zac Hollis, Brand Director, Skoda Auto India, said, “All of my communication this year has been about making 2022 the Biggest Year. And now, we have done it.
