Sunny Day Real Estate — 'Red Elephant'
Sunny Day Real Estate — 'Red Elephant'-November 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:12:43

Traffic sucks, so why not start your morning off with some music? You provide the toast and we’ll provide the jams.

The lyrics with Sunny Day Real Estate were always kind of beside the point. I remember Jeremy Enigk saying in interviews back in the day that he was really just going for an aesthetic; sometimes he wasn’t saying anything at all. He had a talent for phrases, though, which you could superimpose any sort of yearning on to. Or dead inertia. Or hope.

Everyone knows that , and yet oddly, in the 1970s, American automakers actually bragged about their vehicles being heavier than the competition. The whole thing is unbelievably idiotic and serves as just another reminder of the sad state of American cars during that era. At Chrysler, where I used...

The Fanatec CSL DD Meets The Hype — But There's A Catch
When that it was bringing a direct drive wheel base to market for just $350, sim racers sort of lost it. Direct drive is the cream of the crop in terms of force feedback technology compared to cheaper but less precise gear- and belt-driven systems. But Fanatec’s existing direct drive...

Bruce Campbell Reminds Us That He Used To Shill Cars
The dude that fought hordes of the undead with a chainsaw hand had to start somewhere, right? Well, in the case of actor (who research suggests may not actually have a chainsaw hand in real life?), that start seems to be doing films for automakers like Chrysler, and interacting...

Apparently Noble Still Exists And Has A New Supercar To Prove It
There’s a brand new car from Noble. Yes, I’m as shocked as you are. But it’s true:, and it has created a brand new supercar to prove just that. Noble, which is based in Leicester in the UK, hasn’t premiered a new car in 12 years. In fact, it...
