Say what you will about the Smart car, but the Electric Drive with a $139/month lease plus whatever State/Federal EV incentives you might get is a great deal. It might be a perfect, cheap urban runabout. Some have seen lease offers for as low as $99/month.

Nissan is currently offering $10k off list for 2014 GT-Rs which is very cheap for a car that can do 0-60 in a mind bending 2.7 seconds. That's nearly 918 territory for under $90k.

The GT-R is great, but it's not the best deal in the Nissan lineup. That would have to go to the Leaf, especially if you live in a state with good EV incentives. Reader broke down the monthly lease costs for his own Leaf in Georgia.
"$220-ish seems to be about the lowest you can get an S model without the quick charge package, if you have access to Nissan's VPP program.
Our numbers work out like this:
Total of lease payments: ($249x24; plus $349 disposition fee) $6325
Incremental Insurance increase: ($15x24) $360
Incremental Electric Bill Increase: ($15x24) $360
————————————————————————————-
- $5k state refund
+ $1250 federal tax liability on state refund
- $3600 in gas savings ($150x24)

We don't really drive enough miles to drive that number farther negative (only 6,ooo miles per year). I also have not factored in the maintenance that replacing a 10 year old car with the Leaf allowed us. I figured my car was going to need $1000+ over two years to stay on the road. That's no longer an issue."

If I hadn't read it on GM's press release there's no way in hell I'd believe that the new Z06 would cost under $80k. That's less than a base 911 Carrera, for something that will run with a Turbo S.
Crazy.
