World Rally Championship driver Thierry Neuville just destroyed the jump record at Colin's Crest during Rally Sweden with a 44-meter tribute to the art of flight. It's so direct. Smooth. Fast. Why go down the hill when you can simply fly over it?
That's about 144 feet of glorious, glorious air time. That's a little over twenty-seven mes. The slow-mo is even better. Jumping a car makes you feel like everything's a little weightless until you touch down on the ground. Marvel in awe at the vaguely Hyundai-shaped peanut flying effortlessly through the air.
This car proves that you don't really need a plane to fly. Most plane rides I've been on are nowhere near this smooth. Clearly, I need to travel via rally car instead.
Rally Sweden continues throughout this weekend.
