Unlike local race tracks, major oval venues such as Texas Motor Speedway often don’t have race cars making circles every weekend of the year. To keep busy, they host concerts, run races on smaller ovals within the track and, um... break strange world records.
Someone in the office must have been really bored to think of this obscure world record, but it looks like it could also have been part of a promotional event for the new HD that’s pulling the flag.
The Guinness World Records website , but doesn’t appear to have details on who holds the record for the largest pulled by a moving vehicle.
Hang in there, Texas Motor Speedway staff. Only one more month before you have real race cars out there. As for the record, we’re on if they actually broke it.
