This Modded 2018 Nissan Maxima Is Perfect for the Mid-Level Petty Villain
This Modded 2018 Nissan Maxima Is Perfect for the Mid-Level Petty Villain-November 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:09:46

Maybe it’s the black and red color scheme. Maybe it’s the up-swinging doors. Maybe it’s that I like to imagine fog spewing from it when it’s parked, but I have no trouble picturing this modified 2018 as some mid-level villain’s car.

I’m not talking intergalactic sociopath-level villain, like Thanos. Thanos has no use for a Nissan Maxima. But for a villain that terrorizes some suburb by night because they have work as a middle school vice principal during the day? Heck yeah.

This would be the perfect accessory. Something great to show up with a bang in, the doors lifting for a dramatic entrance and with enough practicality for suburban pretty crimes, like stealing mailboxes and robbing cheeseburgers and chicken nuggets from the teens sneaking cigarettes downtown. Stuff like that.

And it’s for sale. This has it for $54,994. Expensive for a Maxima, I know, but it only has 231 miles on the clock, has cool doors, custom paint and a lip spoiler. A lip spoiler! How do you not look awesome with a lip spoiler, scraping over speed bumps and gingerly pulling into the Costco parking lot?

Of course, if you buy this Maxima, it’s only fitting that also acquire an equally theatrical villain suit while you’re at it. Red and black is a must. Spandex. Think .

(h/t to Tyler!)

The drives just like the ... except with one key difference; with the top down you can actually see out the back of it. Camaro's been fighting for over a year now like a heavyweight with one hand tied behind his back. While the 'stang comes in three flavors —...

Sporting a pair of Merlins, the twin fuselage was one freaky Mustang. If that oddball plane rocks your clock, you might find today's equally incongruous Ford Mustang twin turbo-diesel also a flight of fancy. Not many of you fancied yesterday's , but some of you defended its price as -...

Horatio Alger wrote rags to riches stories for the working class. Today's Sunbeam is also an ‘Alger,' and its horsepower is a puny to ponies story, but is its price fit for the proletariat? Porsche for the track? Yes, please. At least that's what 85% of you said yesterday for...

Back in the ‘80s Porsche's pulled a Mr. Miyagi, and turned the Ralph Macchio 924 into the Karate Kid 944. Today's '87 S is race ready, but does its price make sensei? Phew, after Monday's , yesterday's pulling out (literally) a 74% Nice Price win seems especially sweet. Sure Torquemada...

Workers in France are guaranteed at least 31 vacation days a year, while Americans get none. Today's R5 Turbo 2 is a good enough reason for a vacation, but is its price working for you? Yesterday, the general consensus for Sunbeam Tigers was They're Greeeeaaaaat!, Sadly, that was not a...

2012 Fiat 500: First Drive
The set to invade American shores after a several-decade hiatus isn't the same car that's caught on in Europe. It's better, with more engine, revised suspension and upgraded safety. The just got pwned. Disclaimer: Chrysler and Fiat wanted us to drive the 500 and two other models enough that they...
