Let’s just say that Daytona Prototype drivers Ricky Taylor and Joey Hand are not having a good day at the 6 Hours of The Glen. Taylor spun, then Hand spun, then Hand’s car tapped Taylor into the pit lane. It’s like poetry in wipeouts.

With less than an hour to go, race Ricky Taylor in the race leading number 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Daytona Prototype hit a slick curb, tossing him out of control into the wall. He spun back around in the right direction.
Then Joey Hand in the second place number 01 Daytona Prototype of Chip Ganassi Racing lost control as he went on the slick inner line around the corner, tagging Taylor in the process as Taylor was headed into the pits.
Hand had minimal damage and kept the lead until he had to pit for fuel, but Wayne Taylor Racing’s race was done. The number 10 car went behind the wall shortly after it was deemed irreparable with the amount of time left.
