Big news this weekend if you're a NASCAR fan — all your favorite drivers will be taking part in winter testing at Daytona International Speedway, and it will be on SPEED this weekend. This year is worth watching because they'll be testing before they're put into action later this year. We'll be staying on top of what the teams and drivers have to say about them.

Other than that, the Dakar Rally will once again be featured on the NBC Sports Network as long as you're willing to stay up late (or wake up ass-early, depending on your perspective.) There are also a bunch of great touring car races from last year on tap. All in all, it doesn't look to be too bad of a racing weekend. Maybe those winter doldrums are on the way out.
