Women on Wheels (WOW), a South African female motoring supplement, has announced the winners of the 2012 WOW Womens Car of the Year Awards, the only car awards in South Africa decided by women.
The 2012 WOW Womens Car of the Year Awards consisted of 12 categories and more than 79000 votes were received from readers. The judging panel consisted of WOW editor Charleen Clarke, Mail & Guardian motoring editor Sukasha Singh, Linsay Vine from DSTVs Ignition, motoring blogger Vuyi Jabavu, award-winning motoring journalist Peta Lee, MotorMania editor Mabuyane Kekana and City Press motoring editor Janine-Lee Gordan.
