To build hype for something Yamaha is qualifying as a “big bang” to be unveiled at the EICMA show in Milan November 16th, the company dropped this very Japanese Tron-like teaser video.

Yamaha Motor Europe followed up with:

‘A big bang is imminent. And from it will emerge an explosive new breed of dark energy that is destined to reshape the MT world. Inspired by the dynamic forces coming out of the Dark Side of Japan, this forceful new creation redefines torque emotion. Nothing can prepare you for the changes that are about to happen. MT will never stand still.’

Okay. Nobody really knows what to expect, but some have speculated it could be a new MT-03 (FZ-03 stateside) model, maybe with the 320cc twin from the YZF-R3.

The only other option we have any morsel of information about would be a production version of the , but that really wouldn’t make much sense given the vibes of this teaser.
